What about my future? Why this question can hold you back.

If a childhood friend called you up and asked you, “what are you doing these days?” would you respond with dismay about your current situation, but emphasize that you are working on your dreams?

You don’t have to dismay. It’s beautiful to have goals in life, long term, short term, and every objective that lies in between. But don’t forget that you must work now to get to where you want to be, to reach those dreams and aspirations.

Discomfort is a good thing. So become who you want to be right now. This doesn’t mean that you must discomfort others around you with your changes - in all simplicity, it means that you can’t keep waiting for your environment to become ideal on its own - you are the only catalyst for the type of change you desire.
