"South Asia"
I will never understand why Indians, Pakistanis, and Bangladeshis so joyously join the idiot chorus of fools who trumpet the stupid, empty category of "South Asia" when India is not even a peninsula or a subcontinent. I quote, from Wikipedia: "Today, Europe and most of Asia comprise the unified Eurasian Plate which is approximately coincident with the geographic Eurasian continent excluding India, Arabia, and far eastern Russia. India contains a central shield and the geologically recent Himalaya mobile belt forms its northern margin."
Thus, people who constantly insist on calling India "South Asia" are idiots and are simply buying into the cultural hegemonic colonialism of the day, which seeks to separate Europe off from the world when Europe is not even a continent but a peninsula and use ignorant group propaganda to group India and Saudi Arabia with Asia.
